Anand-Iyer is a results-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in biotechnology business development, corporate strategy, and executive management. He has established a distinguished career defined by the execution of complex international deals, most notably a Joint Development and Licensing Agreement (JDLA) valued at over $1 billion. His expertise in securing multi-million-dollar funding includes a $20 million R&D loan from the Indian EXIM Bank and over $50 million in special incentive packages from the Malaysian government.

Mr. Anand-Iyer possesses a unique ability to bridge high-level corporate development with technical scientific rigor. His background spans biologics, vaccines, and large-molecule drug development, supported by advanced proficiency in data analytics using R, SQL, and Tableau. Beyond the biopharmaceutical sector, he has successfully directed initiatives in green technology and eco-forward product launches, aiding producers with strategic market access.

He leverages an extensive network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide tailored, actionable solutions for global clients. His multidisciplinary approach is underpinned by a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from Macquarie University, where he specialized in market penetration and corporate growth.

Dr. Anand (Andy) P. Iyer is a distinguished Global Healthcare and Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology Executive, Entrepreneur, and Innovator with over 40 years of combined academic and industry experience. As a Director at The Iyer Group, LLC, he leverages a unique background as both a scientist and a legal professional to lead complex international consulting and advisory initiatives.

Dr. Iyer has a proven track record in strategic planning, asset management, and the negotiation of high-stakes international deals, including in-licensing, out-licensing, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career at leading organizations such as Pfizer, Ranbaxy-DS, and Stelis BioPharma, he has executed transactions with a combined deal value exceeding $5 billion. His deep expertise in intellectual property (IP) strategy encompasses prosecution, litigation, and transactional law, alongside a comprehensive understanding of US Food and Drug Law.

An active leader in the global "green" and medical technology sectors, Dr. Iyer serves as the Founder and CEO of TUYA Pvt. Ltd. and the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Meraclus Global DMCC, where he focuses on eco-sustainable health and wellness innovations. He also holds key leadership and board positions at APRUS Bio-medical Innovations, Bio-Scaffold International, and PARI BioMedical, LLC.

Dr. Iyer earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from The Pennsylvania State University and holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Chicago-Kent School of Law.
